  • iCal and Google Calendar links are on the events page now, so you can add your events to your own calendars. Figured iCal and Google Calendar cover the two most popular choices (I don’t use Exchange).

  • Social logins are back and they are here to stay: Login from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and WordPress accounts.

  • BIG NEWS: Proud to say that the site now has SSL enabled on the entire domain. Your logins are protected and with HTTPS you have better protection against certain types of attacks. Long story short: we are more secure.
  • Moved from WPEngine to a DigitalOcean server today. There might be some bumps to ease out but for the most part the transfer went smoothly.

  • Removed the “about” tab from event pages and now “live” is the default tab. Sidebars in the event pages have more information, sidebar now currently added to the social page.
  • Added native browser notifications (tied into the web notifications – you can get real-time notifications about events if you signed up for “general” notifications).

  • User Settings: Enable how you get notifications (web, email, or Slack)
  • “Notify Me” button added to event pages. Choose to be notified for general news, ticket information, or speaker call information.
  • “Add To Slack” button added to User Settings to allow users to connect their account with a Slack team/channel of their choosing.
